In todays hectic environment, there are many families where both parents work and the children are involved in many activities. Sometimes it seems like it is impossible to keep up.
At Nannies Direct, we understand the challenges of day to day routines and how important it is to be able to ensure that you have the highest standard of childcare possible. We realize that you want to utilize your resources so that it will allow you more quality time with your family.
Nannies Direct works diligently for both the Employer and the Caregiver to ensure a happy and sucessful placement.
The Live-In Caregiver Program allows professional caregivers to work in Canada. Caregivers are individuals who are qualified to work without supervision in a private household providing care for children, elderly persons or people who have disabilities. The Live-In caregiver must live in the employer’s home. After at least two (2) years of work here, foreign Caregivers can apply for Permanent Residence in Canada. Most of our nannies also have overseas college education in professions such as nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, physical therapy, teaching, and child development.
Important:
The Live-In Caregiver program is NOT an immigration sponsorship. A standard employee/employer relationship exists between the foreign caregiver and the Canadian Employer. A Canadian employer who is dissatisfied with the caregiver’s services may terminate the employment contract pursuant to the Ontario employment legislation.
